In the third quarter of 2021, Jakarta is reported to have an average cellular internet download speed of 24.31 Mbps. This figure is still lower than Makassar, which has an average download speed of up to 25.3 Mbps. The difference of one point makes Jakarta ranked second as the city with the fastest mobile internet speed in Indonesia. In terms of upload speed, Jakarta is also not the fastest. During this period, the average upload speed of mobile internet in Jakarta was recorded at 13.06 Mbs with a latency of 30 ms. Jakarta’s upload speed is still lower than Palembang, Bandung, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.
